28. Broncos – DT Sylvester Williams

North Carolina Senior

Measurables: 6’3″ 313 lbs 33 1/2″ arm length

NFL Combine: 4.99 40-yard 27 bench reps

NFL Comparison: Gerard Warren

Denver has sorely been in need of tackles in past years, even with Kevin Vickerson and Justin Bannan stepping up in 2012 as run-stoppers in the interior of the Broncos’ 4-3 defense. Williams gives them that.

He’s an unpredictable tackle, who varies how he attacks lineman in an attempt to cause confusion, and exhibits a bull-rush technique that will benefit him at the NFL-level.

The biggest concerns about Williams are continued effort on the field and he needs to increase his stamina to consistently contribute at the professional level.
